We already have all the data of the new Realme Pad tablet, a tablet that by its specifications aims to compete with the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 especially in price. We will see how Realme’s first foray into this sector goes.
The first Realme tablet stands out for the Mediatek Helio G80 SoC that mounts, lately the SoCs of this company are working quite well, but even its rival Qualcomm is still quite ahead and also the Snapdragon have better long-term support by the community. Otherwise we have quite interesting specifications in terms of RAM and storage with three different versions, unfortunately in the end the tablet has an LCD screen and an AMOLED solution has been discarded to reduce costs.
SoC, RAM and storage
The new Realme Pad tablet finally features a MediaTek G80 SoC, Octa Core with 4 ARM Cortex-A75 processors capable of reaching 2 GHz and 4 ARM Cortex-A55 that reach a maximum speed of 1.8 GHz. The GPU is an ARM MALI-G53 MC2 with a maximum frequency of 950 Hz.
The RAM memory in three versions is 3/4 GB and for storage we have 32/64 GB eMMC 5.1 versions, although we will have the option to expand it up to 1TB with the micro SD card reader included in the SIM slot.
Display and other specifications
The screen of the Realme Pad is a 10.4-inch LCD type with a resolution of 2000 x 1200 pixels. In terms of cameras we have an 8 MP front camera with 105° FOV that integrates two microphones and on the back we find another one with 8 MP. We will also have Wifi aC, Bluetooth 5.0, it does not have NFC and if we want 4G-LTE connectivity we will have a version that will also have GPS.
Finally the battery is 7100 mAh with an autonomy that can reach up to 10 h, it remains to be seen if it will have 18 W fast charging. The body integrates 4 symmetrical speakers compatible with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio. We must also highlight the size and design of this tablet, especially the thickness of only 6.9 mm.
In terms of connectivity we have USB-C connector and 3.5mm audio jack. The operating system is Realme UI for Pad based on Android 11, which does not seem very different from normal Android.

- The new Realme Pad will be available in gray and gold in three different versions next September 15 from the Realme store and other usual distributors.
