A Box with simple design that this time is based on the SoC Quad Core Amlogic S905X2 and that already comes with the Android TV 10 system, integrated Chromecast and a bluetooth remote control with microphone to use Google Assitant with voice commands. As you already know with this Smart Box we can see the payment platforms like Netflix or Prime video in the highest resolution something that does not happen in the vast majority of Chinese boxes.
An interesting Box, but it is already behind the You-Box that has a more powerful SoC and a similar price as you can see in our review.
SoC, RAM and storage
The STRONG Leap-S1 certified box has an AMlogic S905X2 SoC, a Quad Core with ARM Cortex-A53 processors capable of reaching 1.6 Ghz that integrates a Mali-G31 MP2 GPU. The VPU includes support for HDR, HDR10 and HLG technologies. The SoC is likely to be an S905X2-B,
It has 2 GB of DDR4 RAM and 8 GB of eMMc storage that we can expand with a micro SD card reader that we find between the connectors.
In terms of wireless connectivity we have in this Box Wifi aC dual band and Bluetooth 4.2. The included connectors are a USB 2.0, another USB 3.0, AV connector, IR sensor extension jack, Ethernet 10/100 and an HDMI 2.1 video output with support for up to 4K@60fps resolutions.
As usual an HDMI cable is included, a Bluetooth remote control with integrated microphone to use Google Assistant and power supply to be able to use this Smart Box right out of the box.
