New version for the TV-Boxes of the Ugoos X4Q family that grows in every way with the new Android Box Ugoos X4Q Extra.
A Box that comes with interesting news because we now have 128 GB of storage and an Amlogic S905X4-J processor. This chip is a variant of the Amlogic S905X4 that includes AV1 Codec decoding, Dolby Vision and support for Dolby Digital audio, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Digital Plus Atmos, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby TrueHD Atmos, DTS, DTS HD HRA, DTS HD MA and DTS X. A Soc that will give us a good performance as in the Nokia Streaming BOX 8010, equipped with another variant of the S905X4.
We also assume that the Ugoos X4Q Extra includes the usual software improvements that this brand includes where in its Android 11 we would find #root selector, HD CEC and SAMBA server among others.
Specifications of the Ugoos X4Q Extra
Inside the small Ugoos X4Q Extra we find an AMlogic S905X4-J SoC manufactured in 12nm. This is a Quad Core Chip with low-consumption ARM Cortex-A55 processors that theoretically reach 2 GHz speed and integrates a Mali-G31 MP2 GPU. The VPU includes 4K@60fps, HDR, HDR10, HLG, Dolby Vision and AV1 support.
The RAM memory is 4 GB LPDDR4 soldered on the board and for storage we find eMMc we have 128 GB eMMc 5.0. Since we have a micro SD card reader, we can expand the internal memory this way.
Other notable features
In the area of wireless connectivity, we have Wi-Fi aC connectivity with internal antennas and Bluetooth 5.0. The connectors included in the plastic case are a USB 2.0 OTG port, another USB 3.0, SPDIF digital audio output, Gigabit Ethernet, and an HDMI 2.0 video output.
