We already have on sale the new Xiaomi Pad 6, undoubtedly a tablet that for its price marks a reference in the sector for the competition.
The Xiaomi Pad 6 now offers us a body that is built in metal in one piece and a camera module is similar to the Xiaomi Mi 13. In this new tablet, we have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor, which gives us plenty of power to run any app or demanding game.
In this version we have the same screen size of the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 with 11 inches IPS OGS, although now we have a slightly higher resolution of 2880 x 1080 pixels, a refresh rate increased to 144 Hz and support for Dolby Vision. In terms of software we have Android 13 with the usual MIUI 14 layer.
Xiaomi Pad 6 specifications
The Xiaomi Pad 6 integrates the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC, an Octa Core manufactured in 7 nm, which reaches up to 3.2 GHz in one of its ARM Cortex-A77 cores, to this are added three ARM Cortex-A77 cores and four ARM Cortex-A55 low-power CPUs. In the graphics section, we find an Adreno 650 GPU with OpenGL 3.2 and Vulkan 1.1 support.
For RAM we have 8 GB LPDDR5 and for storage we have UFS 3.1 high-speed memory with 128 GB.
Display and other features
Xiaomi Pad 6 we have an 11-inch IPS 16:10 screen with a resolution of 2880 x 1800 pixels, a refresh rate that reaches 144 Hz, brightness of 550 nits and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. We have Wifi 6 connectivity, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC and a USB Type-C 3.2 Gen1 port. The sound section has 4 microphones and 4 speakers compatible Dolby Atmos Sound.
This tablet has a 8840 mAh battery with 33 W fast charge that will give us a good autonomy. On the other hand, in the photographic section, it includes a 13 MP main camera and an 8 MP front camera.
For now, this Chinese version will come with the MIUI 14 oriental system, where we can change the language. It is expected that in a few weeks we will have the western version, possibly at a higher price.
