Today we find in the stores a new Box with Android called Tanix TX6 – A a basic version of the Tanix TX6 that we saw a few weeks ago in a Review, now already comes by default with Android 9.0. A computer that cuts hardware to lower the price of wireless connectivity since now we only have WiFi b/g/n compared to the original version that includes WiFi aC (WiFi 5) MIMO 2 × 2 and Bluetooth 4.1. Maybe we also have some more cuts at the component level although it is not specified, something that is usual in these cheap versions.
SoC, RAM and storage
The TV-Box Tanix TX6-A includes SoC Allwinner H6, a Quad Core with ARM Cortex-A53 processors that reaches up to 1.8Ghz and an ARM Mali-T720mp2 GPU capable of processing video up to 4K resolutions at 60fps thanks to its Allwinner Phoenix 3.0 VE engine. We also have 4 GB of DDR3 RAM on the motherboard, 32 GB of eMMC storage memory that can be expanded thanks to the microSD card reader that we find on one of the sides. A configuration with which we will not have problems to move apps.

This box comes with a WiFi b/g/n adapter with external antenna WITHOUT Bluetooth. In terms of connectivity, it includes a 10/100 network port, SPDIF digital audio output, two USB 2.0 ports, a USB 3.0, an HDMI 2.0a video output and an SPDIF audio jack.
