Launch in China of the new Vivo Pad2, another high-end tablet of this season with a configuration in which its screen stands out again.
The Vivo Pad2 stands out for its body with a metallic unibody design and its 12.1-inch screen with a resolution of 2800 x 1968 pixels, a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz and an aspect ratio of 7:5 that gives it a square look. As chipset, we have a powerful Octa Core Mediatek Dimensity 9000 that together with the LPDDR5 RAM guarantees great performance.
A tablet very similar in many aspects to the OnePlus Pad and the Oppo Pad 2 that seem to be made from the same mold.
Vivo Pad2 Specifications
The Vivo Pad2 tablet includes a powerful SoC MediaTek Dimensity 9000, an Octa Core manufactured in 4 nm. A Chip with 2 ARM Cortex-X2 processors that reach 3.05 Ghz, 3 ARM Cortex-A710 that reach up to 2.85 GHz and 4 ARM Cortex-A510 at only 1.8 GHz. In the graphic section, we have an integrated Mali GPU -G710 MP10 that allows us to play demanding titles quite fluently.
The RAM memory, which we have soldered on the board, has options with 8/12 GB LPDDR5. For storage, we have versions with 128/256/512 GB of high-speed UFS 3.1 memory.
Display and other features
The screen is a 12.1″ IPS, with a resolution of 2800×1968 pixels with a 7:5 ratio, 600 nits brightness, a configurable refresh rate of up to 144 Hz and HDR10 compatible. In the photographic section in the rear area we have a 13 MP camera with an auxiliary 2 MP and in the front area we have an 8 MP camera. We have Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, Bluetooth 5.3 BLE, NFC, light sensors, gravity, gyroscope, and a USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 1 port for data and charging.
For audio, in the Vivo Pad2 we find four speakers with 2 Tweets while the battery is 10,000 mAh with 44 W fast charging and a range that reaches up to 10 hours.
The operating system carries the OriginOS 3 layer that is based on Android 13.
Price and availability
- The Vivo Pad2 tablet is currently only available in China from around $350 to change, although we will soon find it on AliExpress.
